Tech columnist says 3G iPhone coming “in 60 days”
Generally, we don’t put much stock in rumors, but when you get the word from the man who’s in a position to know—round these parts we call him Malt Schlossberg—it’s impossible to ignore. Speaking at an executive summit on video delivery, Mr. Schlossberg said that the 3G version of the iPhone would be arriving in sixty days.
Of course, this being a summit on video delivery, it’s no surprise that Uncle Malt’s pronouncement was recorded for all the world to hear. Thus:
That’s an awfully cocksure pronouncement there, but if anybody’s likely to have a copy of Steve Jobs’s road map, it’s old Schlossy. A sixty day time frame puts it at roughly the beginning of June, around Apple’s Worldwide Developer Conference and roughly the time we expect the App Store to go live (also just short of the iPhone’s birthday). Seems plausible, especially if Apple wants to push into Asia in the second half of this year, as they’ve said.

Okay, so I'll start holding my breath soon. But if the 3G iPhone ends up being announced in 61 days, I will haunt Goatberg :)

Is this the only footage or can the rest be found somewhere?
