To those Austrians jealous of their neighbors to the northwest, the news that the iPhone is coming to their home country might be worth a little celebration. According to T-Mobile CEO Hamid Akhavan, the company will be Apple’s partner in Austria—or, if you prefer, Österreich. The phone will be reportedly be available some time in the first half of this year, which fits with Apple’s announced timeline of expanding to more countries in Europe this year.
No word yet of whether T-Mobile will offer a von Trapp family plan.
