Google launches integrated iPhone environment

GoogleJust because Google’s planning on launching their own mobile phone platform next year doesn’t mean they can’t show a little love for the iPhone in the meantime. While the company has developed mobile versions of many of its web-based apps, it’s now taken the next step, bundling all of its service together in one convenient interface.

All you have to do on your iPhone is go straight to Google as usual, login to your Google account, and you’ll have the option to access Google search, Gmail, Calendar, Reader, Docs, News, and much much more. The unified interface mainly adds a toolbar along the top that lets you quickly and easily switch back and forth between Google’s various services. It’s simple and easy to use, and will no doubt stand Google in good stead next year with its Android devices as well. But iPhone users can take advantage of it right away.

I still can't get in - says "contact your sponsor"... I can go in on my mac and login into gmail without any problem. I assume that the username is still the gmail email address?

I don't understand why this isn't working for me...
