Look, we run the numbers here and we know exactly-to the digit-how many of you are excited about the iPhone. What say we talk about it in person?
I’ll be doing exactly that on Tuesday, July 24 from 5 to 7 PM.
One catch though, that’s Hawaiian Standard Time. Oh, and if you’d like to attend, you’re going to have to make your way to the University of Hawaii, Hilo. But hey, as a professional iPhone user you were just looking for a way to justify your next “business-related” Hawaiian jaunt to the IRS, right?
Sure….
I’ll be speaking with the Hawaii Mac Nuts user group. If you’re in the area, stop by and say Aloha!
You got me attention in a hurry there with the Hawaiian reference. I thought, you have got to be kidding me.... alas, I am vacationing in Kauai this week and Maui next week....
Aw come on, Mike! It's just a short swim from one island to the next.
Chris, I just asked my wife if we go ... Unfortunately the LOOK I received answered the question :-)
What if you promise her a lei?
Bummer, Chris: I'll be in Hawaii in October. Just a few months off.
I'm so jealous, Hilo is so beautiful and peaceful. I live in Honolulu, you just might see me there. I've been looking for an excuse to visit my favorite island.
See ya there. Bring an umbrella. Oh and it's Lei.
cheers,
Joe
> Bring an umbrella.
Tip Number 1 for the night:
Tap Weather.
Tap the small I icon.
Tap the Plus button.
In the Add Location field enter Hilo, HI and tap Search.
Tap on Hilo, HI in the results area.
Tap Done.
View the 6-day forecast for Hilo and muse in dumb amazement when you see that the next week calls for rain, each and every day.
Remind self that you're traveling to the wet side of the island and to take umbrella (though no coat as temperatures will remain in the 80s).
Aloha Chris!
Thank you for the time you spent with the Hawaii MacNuts and other folk who showed up at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. We wish we could have snagged you for a few more hours...another visit maybe...somewhere without the time constraints? It was great to meet you and many mahalos (thanks) for all the info regarding the iPhone and all things "Mac".
