BMW + iPhone: Look ma, no hands!
Own an iPhone and a BMW? And what kind of security do you have? I’m just…asking. Anyway, if you’re interested in using your iPhone while in your car, BMW has confirmed that the handsfree system found in models made after October 2004 will be compatible with the iPhone.
Not only will you be able to use the BMW’s built-in speakers for talking on the phone, but you can use the BMW’s dash buttons to access the iPhone’s address book. And the iPod connect features should work as well, meaning you can control your iPhone’s music playback with the built-in controls as well.
My ten year old Honda Accord sadly has none of these bells and whistles, but my dad’s got an Acura TL with the handsfree system: it worked great with my old phone, but I haven’t had a chance to try it with the iPhone yet. Next time I’m over there, I’ll have to give it a shot.

I just wanted to add that the 2007 Lexus RX 400H with Handsfree bluetooth can use the iPhone with voice dialing. You DO have to enter the phone numbers yourself. I don't know about other Lexus cars or Toyotas, but would assume they would also work with the iPhone.

It works great with my 2007 Acura TSX. Actually it works better than my old Nokia 6630.
I use the Acura's built in voice dialing for most of my calls, but when the Acura is on and I make a call manually through the iPhone it defaults to the Acura's HandsFreeLink and brings up a nice little menu offering me to change the hands free to iPhone or Headphones.

I have 2006 Audi A4 s line and it does not have a Bluetooth setup.
But has Audi I pod connector that connects I pod to the Audi stereo.
My I phone works great with this set up and when calls coming in it stops and fades the music and either connects to my bluetooth headset or I can take the call normally .Also charges the battery.
When you first connect the Iphone to the connector will ask you if you want to set it to Air line mode yes or no and I say no and then slide it to unlock then all functions works perfectly there on
Email, web , Ipod and phone.

Pelle, What exactly did you have to do to pair your iPhone to you TSX? I have an '07 TSX and just bought an iPhone but it won't pair up and www.handsfreelink.com says the TSX isn't compatible with the iPhone.
