If you had asked me who the media big shots were who got iPhones in advance, three names would have come to mind: Mossberg, Pogue, and Steven Levy of Newsweek. (Need I add that two of those gentlemen are Macworld alumni?)
Sure enough, here comes Levy’s review of the iPhone, hot on the heels of Mossberg and Pogue.
Levy’s take: the iPhone doesn’t necessarily do anything that other devices haven’t done before, but it does them well, and that’s remarkable. My favorite example: Levy’s Motorola cell phone still “baffles” him after two years, but he was able to use the iPhone without even picking up a manual. The money quote:

Can anyone tell me if I can listen to Net radio stations on the iPhone? No just Pandora, but specific URL-based stations that appear later in iTunes' library for future listening clicks?
