Standing in line to auction off the iPhone
As many of us lust after the iPhone, we can’t imagine standing in line only to give the phone up. One person has joined the line at Apple’s 5th Avenue store and promises to auction it off.
David Clayman — who is now the third person in line — says he will auction off the iPhone to support the Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit organization that brings professionals together with organizations that need pro bono marketing, HR and IT consulting services.
Clayman is a recent graduate of the University of Chicago and starts his new job on July 2.
He says he’ll keep his blog updated throughout the week.
