Iconfactory shares iPhone desktop pictures, tries to get its game on
Our friends at The Iconfactory (I hear it’s a big building with smokestacks and everything) have apparently been anticipating the iPhone as much as the rest of us. Of course, productive folks that they are, they’ve decided to do something about it.
So, they’ve gone ahead and resized all of their fabulous desktop pictures for the iPhone—just in case you want to personalize your new phone beyond the default images. There’s a ton of choices on the site, ranging from anime-inspired drawings, to cartoon characters, to—oh my god, I know which one I’m getting.
Meanwhile, the Iconfactory team hasn’t stopped there. They’re also trying to mobilize a grassroots effort to convince Apple to put the puzzle game they helped create, Frenzic, on the iPhone. I have to admit, it’s an all too addictive pastime, and one whose gameplay mechanics are perfectly suited to a touchscreen. C’mon Apple: I thought you were all about gaming now?
